Division 33 Diversity, Equity, & Inclusivity Committee
Division 33 of the American Psychological Association is dedicated to advancing psychological research, professional education, and clinical services that increase quality of life in individuals with IDD/ASD across the life course.
Equity, diversity, and inclusivity are at the heart of our mission. These values guide and drive our work, which is enhanced by partnership with those contributing diverse perspectives, abilities, and experiences.
Division 33 strives to promote engagement and representation within our Division and in the field of psychological studies in IDD/ASD. We aspire to be an inclusive Division whose members have a meaningful voice and impact. We encourage the involvement of those who identify with traditionally underrepresented groups as well as those with lived experience, including individuals with IDD/ASD and their families.
