Psychology in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities/Autism Spectrum Disorders; the newsletter of the Division is published twice per year.
Networking with an international group of psychologists concerned with psychology and developmental disabilities.
Access to forums for the presentation of research and scholarship in developmental disabilities.
Participation in the Division program at the APA annual convention.
Participation in the business affairs of the Division.
Participation in the representation of the interests of persons with developmental disabilities and developmental disabilities psychologists to the APA.
The members of Division 33 invite you to join them in pursuing the goals of the Division. In addition to its regular and student memberships, Division 33 has an Affiliate status for persons with a professional interest in psychology and developmental disabilities, and hold a bachelor’s, masters, or doctoral degree in a human services discipline, but who are not members of APA
How to Join/Renew Division 33 Membership
You can conveniently pay your annual Division 33 dues by logging in to your myAPA account. You will have a myAPA account even if you do not have an APA membership. If you are joining for the first time, there is no cost to create a myAPA account. [Click here if you are unsure if you have an APA account.] Those who do not have an APA membership and create a free myAPA account would then need to visit this website to join Division 33: https://www.apa.org/about/division/join

Details regarding your membership:
APA processes the memberships for Division 33. Those who are not active APA members/students may still join the division in the Affiliate status (i.e., Professional Affiliate, Student Affiliate).
Consistent with the APA membership cycle, our memberships run with the calendar year. If you join or renew from January-August, your membership is considered paid from 01/01 and will expire on 12/31 of that year. If you join September-December, your membership will expire 12/31 of the following year.
In around 4 weeks, you will be added to the listserv. Listserv inquiries can be directed to Dr. Hannah Barton (Hannah.Barton@nationwidechildrens.org)

Dues & Membership Types:
Member/Fellow = $40/Year
Student = $15/year (first year is free).
Note: Students can join Division 33 without being active APA members (may or may not belong to APA). Student Affiliates include matriculated students in good standing in human services or a health-related field.
Professional Affiliate = $40/year.
Note: Those who do not belong to APA can join Division 33 in the status of affiliate.
