Research Assistant Position at the Duke Center for Autism and Brain Development

The Duke Center for Autism and Brain Development is seeking to hire energetic, motivated individuals who have a passion for clinical research to assist in an NIH-funded study that is validating a novel digital screening app for detecting autism symptoms in 6- and 12-month-old infants. The app is being administered to infants during their 6- and 12-month well-child checkups in Duke primary care clinics. Research assistants will have the opportunity to work directly with infants and their families in a clinic setting and to participate as part of an interdisciplinary team of researchers at Duke who conducting cutting edge autism research. As part of the research team you will gain experience in: following study protocols, preparation and use of assessments, direct participant interaction, data acquisition, and data quality control processes. The center offers a wide range of educational activities including seminars, retreats, and community events. College degree required.
