Center Head, Pediatric Developmental & Behavioral Medicine

Cleveland Clinic Children’s invites applications for Center Head, Pediatric Developmental & Behavioral Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital for Rehabilitation. The selected professional will have the opportunity to lead the team of Developmental / Behavioral Pediatricians at a freestanding rehabilitation facility dedicated to the care of children with developmental and behavioral issues and chronic illness. This team collaborates closely with other Cleveland Clinic Children’s specialists and with the resources of the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic.

The Center Head, equivalent to a Division Chief, is a leadership position responsible for all aspects of the Center including day to day clinical operations, research programs, program development, and fulfillment of the long term strategic vision and plan. Administratively, the Center Head reports to the Chair of the Cleveland Clinic Pediatric Institute.

Applicants must be Board Certified in Pediatrics and Board Certified in Developmental / Behavioral Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with academic accomplishments is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine (CCLCM) of Case Western Reserve University. Ample research opportunities are available within the Lerner Research Institute and CCLCM. Cleveland Clinic Children’s is consistently ranked as one of the best children’s hospitals in the United States by U.S. News & World Report and has 389 staffed beds, 25 of which are in our free-standing Children’s Hospital for Rehabilitation. The Children’s Hospital for Rehabilitation is the home of the nationally-renown Center for Autism, which includes a year-round school and a range of outpatient services, the ADHD Center for Evaluation and Treatment, and the Feeding Disorders Program. The Children’s Therapy and Rehabilitation treatment and services includes inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation as well as a range of mental health services, including psychometric testing, evaluation and treatment of anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, depression, coping with medical illness, bipolar disorder, biofeedback, bereavement, anorexia, adjustment disorders, and autism. Infants and children receive the appropriate treatment mix to overcome chronic medical, neurodevelopmental, behavioral and emotional challenges. Our Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics group consists of three developmental pediatricians, a neurodevelopmental disabilities physician, two nurse practitioners in developmental pediatrics, care managers, nurses, therapists, psychologists, social workers and other professionals in numerous disciplines.
