 The Unumb Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based diagnostic and therapeutic services to people with autism spectrum disorder and to serving individuals with autism and their families across the lifespan. The Unumb Center prides itself on a collaborative environment and a rigorous adherence to evidence-based practices. Under general supervision of the Director of Clinical Services, the clinician's responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct psychological assessments for developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, specific learning disabilities, and other childhood disabilities

  • Opportunities to conduct evaluations with adults are available based on the applicant’s previous training

  • Provide individual and family therapy to clients referred for mental or behavioral health concern

  • Participate in summer programming and social skills groups as needed

  • Supervise university practicum students as needed

Required skills include:

  • Licensed as a psychologist and/or professional counselor or license-eligible in South Carolina Experience working with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities

  • Trained to provide treatment from an applied behavior analytic and/or cognitive-behavioral perspective
