Research Assistant, U-Mass Boston
/We are delighted to announce a full time research assistant position in Dr. Alice Carter’s lab in the Department of Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Boston as part of a multi-site ACE (Autism Centers of Excellence) Action Network study to evaluate a two-part intervention for toddlers with or at risk for autism and their parents.
The research assistant will be responsible for communicating with families and interventionists to coordinate home observations and data collections, administering child assessments and parent interviews, scoring intervention video tapes for fidelity of implementation, performing data management tasks, and assisting with manuscript preparation and IRB submissions. This research assistant will also supervise undergraduate students and participate in lab meetings at the University of Massachusetts Boston. In addition, the research assistant will work closely with the intervention implementation team at Boston Medical Center.
We are particularly interested in candidates fluent in Spanish who have worked with young children with autism.
