Autism Research Faculty - Mass General Hospital Lurie Center

Applications are invited for multiple full-time positions at the level of Research Staff at the Lurie Center for Autism at Massachusetts General Hospital and as Instructor or Assistant Professor in an appropriate department (pediatrics, neurology, psychiatry, radiology, etc.) at Harvard Medical School.

Candidates with basic science, translational science, or clinical research experience are encouraged to apply provided that the research experience or future research directions are applicable to autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Specific areas include, but are not limited to, neuroinflammation, neural plasticity, communication and language, and biomarker development. Applicants can hold a PhD and/or MD in any given relevant specialty but must have a solid track record in conducting independent and innovative research during their graduate and/or post-doctoral fellow training. Candidates for the rank of Assistant Professor must also exhibit, through their accomplishments, promise of future distinction in research, scholarship, and education.

The successful candidate is expected to establish an extramurally funded, independent research program, working collaboratively with other investigators at the Lurie Center, and elsewhere at MGH, Harvard and MIT.

During your employment as Instructor or Assistant Professor you will be asked to participate in administrative and teaching duties.
