/Nationwide Children’s Hospital is expanding services to North West Ohio
Nationwide Children’s Hospital is expanding services in Toledo Ohio, as we develop pediatric psychology services in partnership with Mercy Children’s Hospital, now known as Nationwide Children’s Hospital – Toledo. We are looking for pediatric psychologists, pediatric neuropsychologists, autism and neurodevelopmental psychologists, and psychologists with expertise in child and adolescent primary behavioral health concerns in all professional stages to help build Behavioral Health services with an ongoing mission to champion high-quality services that improve the well-being of children throughout Ohio. Nationwide Children’s Hospital - Toledo has particular needs for psychology expertise in patients seen in Gastroenterology (GI), Neurology, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Nephrology, and autism evaluation and treatment. Candidates must possess a doctoral degree in psychology with training in pediatric psychology or clinical child psychology and be licensed or license-eligible in Ohio. The completion of a specialized post-doctoral fellowship is preferred.
The goal for these positions is to create an atmosphere where a newly formed Division of Psychology for Nationwide Children’s Hospital – Toledo becomes fully integrated into pediatric subspecialty areas, and has close and supportive working relationships with community pediatricians and hospital-based physician specialists as well as colleagues in the larger Section of Psychology at Nationwide Children’s campus in Columbus, Ohio. Research and other scholarly activity will be encouraged, and opportunities exist for collaborative research with established researchers locally and with Columbus-based Nationwide Children’s colleagues.
