Psychologist - Lurie Center for Autism - Lexington, Massachusetts
/The Lurie Center for Autism, a division of the Department of Pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital for Children (MGHfC) is seeking a full-time, licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the assessment and treatment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disabilities with a focus on early development and school-aged children.
The Lurie Center, located in Lexington, Massachusetts, is an integrated clinical, research, training, and advocacy program dedicated to treating individuals with ASD and other neurodevelopmental disabilities across the lifespan. We offer a unique, multidisciplinary approach that integrates the services of neurology, developmental pediatrics, gastroenterology, psychiatry, neuropsychology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech language pathology, educational and transition services, and family support services. Primary responsibilities include diagnostic and neuropsychological assessment, as well as direct evidence-based treatment of children with ASD and co-occurring developmental and psychiatric concerns. The primary effort will be participation in our Early Diagnostic Clinic, focused on diagnostic assessment of children under five years of age. Preference will be given to candidates who have specialized training in the application of cognitive-behavioral therapy, behavior management/parent guidance, and/or family therapy within the field of ASD. The position involves close collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, as well as consultation with community providers, families, and schools. Additional responsibilities will include teaching and supervision of psychology and medical students, interns, residents, and fellows.
Requirements for employment include completion of an APA-accredited doctoral program in psychology (PhD or PsyD) with specialized postdoctoral-level training in neuropsychological assessment and evidence-based intervention. Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is also required.
This appointment is anticipated to be at Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor rank.

The position will include both an MGH and Harvard Medical School appointment. All MGH faculty are expected to engage in teaching, research, and clinical care services.
