/Summary
The Department of Psychology at John Carroll University invites applications for a position in Psychology to begin as soon as possible but no later than January 2023. The position will become the founding program director for a newly-developed Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Master’s Program.
Rank is open but we are primarily interested in considering individuals at the assistant or associate levels, ideally with leadership and/or management experience appropriate to the role of program director. Full consideration will be given to applications that are complete by April 30, 2022, but we will continue to accept applications until the position is filled.
The primary responsibilities of the position will be to develop and oversee the ABA Master’s program, including making additional faculty and teaching hires to support the program, developing curriculum, recruitment of the inaugural and successive student classes, fostering community relationships to support student success, and overseeing and maintaining program necessary program accreditations.
The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Psychology or closely related field and certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and will have a strong interest in teaching undergraduate and graduate students in a Jesuit liberal arts institution.
